A stunning super-king size carved teak Indian Canopy Bed from Jodhpur in Rajasthan and complementing furniture is to be found in the bedroom with a windows overlooking the cobbled courtyard. An Indian marble tiled bathroom offers a free standing double ended roll-top bathtub with a separate double sized shower cubicle on a black porcelain tiled floor. The four poster is a high bed and as such you may wish to take advantage of the steps provided to climb up when the time is ready……

A super-king sized ‘Venetian’ four-poster bed is complemented by a mixture of black and silver furniture and comfortable armchairs with black and white prints on the walls evoking ‘times gone bye’. Walls are wood panelled with a cream and powder blue palette with tapestry curtains framing glazed mullion windows with views towards the mansion providing a sumptuous and relaxing feeling to this contemporary twist of a country house bedroom.

A spacious en-suite bathroom offers a large free standing ‘tub’ with separate double sized shower cubicle and rain shower with fully tiled walls and floor.

Walls are partially wood panelled with a warm bronze palette above dado rail height and mustard tartan curtains give a sumptuous and relaxing feeling to this contemporary twist of a country house bedroom.

A spacious en-suite bathroom offers a large free standing ‘tub’ with separate double sized shower cubicle and rain shower with the walls and floor finished in a contemporary natural black granite.

Room 1 – Luxury is located on the first floor of the hotel. This room contains a very large oak Gothic Tester bed, standing at over 10ft tall it really makes a statement.

With mullion windows in a large bay it has views over the front lawn, during the winter months distant sea views.

Room 8 – Luxury is located on the first floor of the hotel. It has two mullion bay windows, one facing the front lawn (Distant sea views during winter months) and carriage drive, the other across the front of the house towards the “long view”.

The room is spacious and light and contains a very large super king Oak Four Poster bed.

Bedroom 21 – The Tower Room is located on the second floor of the hotel reached via the bell tower stairs. The room is wood panelled and painted in a warm grey and white with royal blue fabrics.

The shower room is in black Italian marble and has a large rain shower, toilet and washstand all by Burlington of London.

Room 41 is located in the Carriage House courtyard having a ‘New England’ beachside theme with part panelled walls finished in an off white palette. Light oak furniture is complimented by a superking size bed with an oversized pinstripe headboard and a pair of comfortable armchairs to relax  and unwind in.

The bathroom is fully tiled in a Cappuccino marble with a free standing tub and  a separate double sized shower with overhead rain shower.

For those who may need to do a little work whilst visiting, an oak desk  is available under a large silvered wall mirror.

Located in the Carriage House Courtyard, this room has a French inspired theme. Wood panelled walls  finished in a ‘French Grey’ colour and antique wall lights are complemented by classic French style furniture in an antique grey and distressed gilt finish. A super king bed awaits with a Hynos mattress to ensure a relaxed night’s sleep.

The bathroom is fully tiled with Italian travertine and consists of a roll top bath and a double size shower cubicle with overhead. ‘rain-shower’ with the latest push button controls by ‘hansgrohe’.

For those who need to do a little ‘work’ whilst away, there is a large desk and chair available with complimentary high speed fibre access and a 50″ TV is provided along with two comfortable armchairs to relax in.

Room 6 – Deluxe Twin is located on the first floor of the hotel. It has windows overlooking woodland and facing the National Park.

This room has hand carved twin 4ft bed’s featuring birds. The room has full height panelling and is painted in a warm yellow with burgundy curtains and two arm chairs in a caramel tartan.

Room 10 – Deluxe Twin is located on the first floor of the hotel. It has windows overlooking the kitchen gardens and stable block.

It has a pair of double beds. The décor is in light blue and soft brown.

Room 14 – Deluxe is located on the first floor of the hotel. It has windows facing the long view. The room was originally part of Ms. Ellis’ private apartment and has painted wood panelling and a fireplace.

The room has a Super King bed plus seating area with two arm chairs arranged around the fireplace.

Room 16 – Deluxe is located on the first floor of the hotel. It has windows facing the long view and the National Park.

Room 23 – Deluxe King (Ground Floor) is located on the ground floor of the hotel close to reception and public rooms.

It has views over the carpark towards the kitchen gardens and stable block. The decor is classic country house in soft yellow, white and grey.

Room 24 – Deluxe King (Ground Floor) is located on the ground floor of the hotel and once formed part of the original ‘servants hall’.

The room has just been fully refurbished (April 2018) in a traditional style with a King size Gothic bed and matching furniture, with a large window overlooking a small planted flowerbed, lawn and side of the car-park.

Room 19 – Superior is located on the second floor of the hotel. It has a superking bed and windows facing the National Park with a small seating area.

The bathroom has cream tiles and contain a rain shower, toilet, and washstand plus a double ended slipper bath located within the room.

Decor is contemporary classic, walls are painted in a light green palate above wooden ‘tongue & groove’ panelling. The décor comprises half panelled walls painted in ‘powder blue’ with cream walls complimenting blue and gold fabrics.

Room 18 – Classic is located on the second floor of the hotel. It has windows facing the long view.

The bed is a king size and the décor comprises half panelled walls painted in ‘powder blue’ with cream walls complimenting blue and gold fabrics.

Room 11 – Classic Single is located on the first floor of the hotel. It has a single window over the inner courtyard but has no external view.

The room contains a double bed and the décor is a mix of light cream and browns.

Room 20 – Classic Double is located on the second floor of the hotel. It has windows overlooking the roof line with limited views but is light with a triple sash window and is classically furnished.

The ensuite shower room has a double ‘rain-head’ shower.
