Fine Dining at Wrea Head Hall

Quality food is one of the four cornerstones of our ethos at Wrea Head Hall along with Rooms, location and Service that makes us stand out from the crowd. Our 1881 restaurant in the original oak panelled dining room of the house benefits from large windows overlooking the gardens with views up to the National Park. With its gilt blocked wallpaper, antique mirrors, wall lights and paintings illuminated by candlelight it makes the perfect romantic dining room.

Our team of Chef’s aim to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience during their stay with menus constantly evolving. We offer a Table d’Hôte menu with additional seasonal dishes for those wanting something a little extra. We prepare all our dishes, sauces and desserts from scratch using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. During the winter months, pheasant, venison and duck are supplied from surrounding estates. In the summer, produce from our kitchen garden and orchard adds to the selection of fresh fruit and vegetables used in our dishes.

For special occasions, we can provide a private dining experience in our “Library” seating between 10 and 20 people. An open fire during the winter and crystal chandeliers make this room the perfect setting to share your birthday or anniversary dinner with friends and family.
